WWCC Participants Pay For the Stay at the Same Hotel 4 Times More Than Those Who Will Come to Play in Russian Cup

Alexandra Kosteniuk noted an interesting detail in her Livejournal. The Russian Cup among Women will start in ten days in Khanty-Mansiysk. The Russian Chess Federation website contains information regarding the accomodation for the participants in the Hotel Olimpiyskaya, the one where the participants of the WWCC live. However, the prices differ dramatically:

"The living costs at the Hotel Olimpiyskaya (45-B Engels St.):
Double room - 550 RUB per person a day,
Single room - from 550 RUB a day.
Price of three meals a day - 500-600 RUB a day."

Compare prices for the participants of WWCC and their accompanying people:
Double room - 2100 RUB per person a day, if he/she lives alone; 1300 RUB, if he shares the room with someone.
Dining price - 750 RUB per dinner or supper.

"No one could explain me why this happens - neither in the organizing committee nor at the hotel," - Kosteniuk writes.
