Four GMs Will Compete for the Land on New Year's Eve

The website of Piterenka village located in Russia published information stating that the Central House of Chess will host a competition of 4 GMs on December 29. The main prize will be the land of ten hundred square metres in Piterenka village. "The names of the participants is kept in secret and will be announced on the website on December 25" - This is what the website says. However, as Chess-News has found out the list of participants is not a secret at all: Sergey Karjakin, Alexander Grischuk. Dmitry Jakovenko and Ian Nepomniachtchi - will compete for the land. They will play double round-robin rapid and blitz games. The winner will be determined by overall number of points.

The land of ten hundred square metres approximately costs 500,000 RUB.
