Vladimir Kramnik told who has helped him during the Candidates tournament during the large interview on Chess-News.

"Only the massage therapist helped me in London. He has done a great job and I'm thankful to him. Zahar Efimenko was helping me being outside London, he was my second in Kazan too. He worked really well, sometimes he was doing some urgent work at nights. I'm very satisfied with his work. Several other people helped me during my preparation. I prefer not to name them. The only thing I can say is that there weren't new people in my team. Maybe I even had the smallest group of coaches in comparison to all other participants. At least one of the smallest groups."

Kramnik also preferred not to name his massage therapist, "That's not a secret but first I would like to ask him and name him only after he says he's not against of it. I can tell you the story though. This person was recommended to me by the RCF. The federation wants him to accompany the national team. Ilya Levitov has checked him on himself first and was quite satisfied with his work. I was sort of experimental try - the first person from the team. So, now it's quite possible that he will be playing not only with me but with the entire team."
