GM Alexandr Moiseenko was the only one from the leading group at the EICC who managed to win today. Ukrainian GM gave a brief commentary on his winnning game to Chess-News.

"The game was a success. I have played against Sergey earlier and lost several times with black, so I expected such a fight. He's a pecualiar player with a style which is not pleasant to everyone. However, I managed to prepare and get a comfortable position. When the king is on h1 and the rook on g1 that's a fantastic position for this line, I'm standing better on all flanks. I mean it's an easy position to play and I can't really see if Black has any counterplay, so position is just won. Then I also managed to strike on d7 and that's always pleasant to do..."

36.Nd7!, and Black resigned soon.
