The 4th match game turned out to be bright and full of events much like the previous. It's not rulled out some may remember it as the best game of the match. In a mixture of Nimzo-Indian defense Topalov applied a novelty already on 7th move 7...d5!? Those relying on computer evaluation won't like it as the machine gives the advantage White.

Even this sharp middlegame is assessed by materialistic thinking Houdini in favor of White. Maybe it is right, but the games are still played by humans: usually positions with opposite-colored bishops with queens are harder to play for the side which has a weaker king. It's also obvious that black bishop is more active.
27.Rd6 Re6 28.Rxe6 fxe6 29.Qc2 Bc6 30.Rd1? According to the computer White still has an advantage after 30.f4 Qf7 31.Qe2 Rf8 32.h3.
30...Rf8 Now Black is absolutely fine.
31.Rd6 Qg5! is a trap which worked.

32.Rxc6? The only chance to escape was 32.h4 still being tortured after 32...Qf6. Now there's a forced win for black.
32...exf3 33.g3 Qe5 34.Qf2 Qa1+ 35.Qf1 Qd4+ 36.Qf2 Qd1+ 37.Qf1 f2+ There's no defence neither from losing the rook, nor from the close mate.  0-1

Topalov is leading 2.5-1.5. Two more games are ahead.
