Russian to Play for Togo in the Match Against South France

A unique event organised by the Chess Federation of the Republic of Togo will take place on January 19. The federation was included in FIDE just recently in 2012 prior to the Istanbul Olympiad. The players representing Togo will fight against the strongest players of South of France (Nice, Marseille, French Riviera). Yet the team consists of six players, but it may be enlargened later. The match will take place on and will be available to follow free of charge.

Russian Mikhail Strovsky is playing on Board 2 for the Togo team. Earlier in summer he changed the federation. We will provide you with the detailed in formation on the members of the participating teams soon. The time control for the games will be 90'+30''.
