Ivan Saric and Alexander Morozevich strengthened lead after fourth round of the Poikovsky tournament.

Crioatian GM grabbed an advantage as white in a rare line of Caro-Kann in the encounter against Pavel Eljanov. Ukrainian tried to save the position but after the decisive breakthrough of the king on e5 square it was already impossible. This is third in a row win of the 23-year-old Saric - the youngest participant of the event.

Sutovsky - Morozevich encounter wasn't flawless. Morozevich got a comfortable play as black after the opening, but then gave his opponent chances to grab initiative. Emil missed last of them on the 30th move, he didn't notice 30.Qb6! which would put Morozevich in front of the hard choice: to continue the fight with the queens or not, in both cases with the worse for him perspectives. Morozevich dominated after Sutovsky missed this chance.

Dmitry Jakovenko is a point behind the leaders, he hold Alexey Shirov in a complicated game.
Ian Nepomniachtchi improved his position in the standings. He declared his ambition to win already on the first move
1.d4 f5!. The planned worked out.
