Along with Boris Grachev, who overcame the rating point of 2700 for the first time in his entire career, this week made proud of their results Fabio Caruana, Emil Sutovsky and Anish Giri. By the way, the young Dutch player will be on air here at Chess-News radio today!

Caruana (2743.8) and Giri (2729.0) were successful at Reggio Emilia, while Sutovsky (2707.7) gained his points at the Israeli Team Chess Championship. However, as the Israeli GM noted, his success is relative, because in 2004, he was 15th in the World rating list with a slightly lower rate, while now he is 34th.
