The Russian Reporter magazine published an article Chess Kings which quotes 5 leading grandmasters' opinions on different topics. Namely, Alexander Grischuk told what kinds of people fill him with disgust:
"I'm very negative towards the sentiments like "it's time to get out of here." I consider this country as mine and I'm very uncomfortable hearing people calling it "Russhka". I have no respect towards such people. Of course, the brain drain continues, but that's, first and foremost, because of the economical problems: for instance, the scientists are better paid abroad. That's another case and I don't blame them; but those who sit and mutter: "What does this country and people look like! It's time to get out of this damned Russhka", - they're disgusting for me."
As you remember this is not the first time Grischuk shares his political views. In one of the interviews almost a year ago he's phrase about Stalin: "At the moment I appraise Stalin rather positively" - draw a wide response.
