Tie-break decided it all

The closing ceremony of the European Club Cup has finished several minutes ago in Eilat, Israel. However, no one including the arbiters, knew which team became the champion neither after today's round was finished, nor at the very start of the closing ceremony. SOCAR-Azerbaijan and St. Petersburg Chess Federation gathered 12 points each; the final tie-break, which hasn't been published anywhere yet, decided the winner.

The winner became known only after Sava Stoisavljevic "thanked" organizers for not being able to pronounce her last name correctly, she then congratulated the women's team Monte-Carlo and SOCAR. We have published the scrolling text in the BREAKING NEWS mode immediately after we got this information.

Standings (European Club Cup):
1. SOCAR-Azerbaijan - 12 points
2. "St. Petersburg Chess Federation" - 12
3. "ShSM-64" - 11
